Hello, everyone. The Ozark Girls Chorus is going on “sabbatical” this year, though we’re excited about getting going again in 2012. Thanks to all the parents and fans and we’ll keep you posted!

Here we are a few weeks ago singing at the Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball game at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, AR. Come see us this Friday at the UA baseball game!

At our last concert we performed this Swahili-language song and thought we’d post it again to build some excitement for our upcoming concert on December 11 that will feature mostly Christmas-themed songs. Hope to see you there!
A Joyful Sound Concert December 11
Come celebrate the season with the Ozark Girls Chorus recital. The girls have worked so hard and will look wonderful in their dresses. They are so excited to finally perform the Christmas songs and Hannukah song that they’ve been preparing. Adriane Hapgood and the OGC pianist Mary Hassell will also sing a special duet version of “O, Holy Night.” It’s open to the public! It’s also free, though we’ll send around a donation basket to help defray the concert costs. Hope to see you there!
Choir Camp
We’ve had a great first week at Girls Chorus. Remember this Saturday we will be having choir camp. Apple Blossoms are meeting from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and the Magnolia’s are meeting from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the First United Presbyterian Church. Can’t wait to see you there!
